Job summary

Hartford HealthCare seeks an Electrophysiology Advanced Practitioner (APP) to support a growing EP program across the Heart & Vascular Institute. The role combines ambulatory ECG interpretation, device management, and perioperative EP responsibilities with a strong emphasis on patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates are PA or APRN graduates with CT licensure, cardiology/EP experience, and a ready-to-collaborate mindset to support inpatient and outpatient teams at multiple CT sites.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master’s program.
• Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in Connecticut.
• Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or through AACN/ANCC.
• Cardiology/electrophysiology experience preferred.
• Cardiac device management experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret outpatient ECGs and diagnose/manage complex arrhythmias.
• Provide pre-procedure risk stratification for EP procedures.
• Prescribe diagnostic/therapeutic interventions and monitor medications.
• Perform routine CIED testing/reprogramming with minimal supervisor.
• Interrogate and manage inpatient device transmissions and perioperative EP care.
