Job summary

Emerald Resource Group is partnering with a premium product manufacturer in Columbus, OH to hire its first COO/Integrator. The CEO is handing off day-to-day leadership, including P&L and the leadership team, with ESOP and performance bonus components.

This is a rare chance to run a growing company with strong brand loyalty, multi-channel sales, and a disciplined EOS operating system. You’ll align strategy, finance, and operations and build scalable systems to support expansion.

Qualifications

• Experience as #2 (COO/President/GM) at a $20M–$60M product company.
• Proven P&L ownership with direct line accountability.
• EOS experience in a product-related industry preferred.
• Ability to scale operations and manage multi-channel sales.
• Strong finance skills to challenge numbers.

Responsibilities

• Run weekly L10 meetings and own the scorecard.
• Direct reports: Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance.
• Own P&L and partner with Finance on forecasts.
• Translate CEO's vision into annual plans and Rocks.
• Lead growth initiatives including new channel launch and ops buildout.
• Build scalable systems (CRM, ERP) and org structure.

Emerald Resource Group is partnering with a premium, niche product manufacturer in Columbus to hire its first COO/Integrator. The CEO is stepping into the Visionary role and handing off the day to day, including the P&L and the leadership team.

The company

• $25M+ manufacturer and distributor, about 50 employees
• Products considered the standard in their market, with decades of brand loyalty
• Runs on EOS
• Planned growth of 10 to 15% a year, with a new channel launch, product innovation, and ecommerce growth underway
• 100% employee-owned (ESOP). A meaningful part of total comp is tied to company results, so you share in what you build

What you’ll do

• Run the weekly L10, own the scorecard, and lead the Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance directors as your direct reports
• Own the full P&L (revenue by channel, margin by product line, cost by department) and partner with Finance on close, forecasting, and budgets
• Turn the CEO’s vision into annual plans, quarterly Rocks, and 90-day priorities, and push back when something doesn’t add up
• Sequence and resource growth initiatives, including a new channel launch and an operations buildout
• Learn why current processes work the way they do, then modernize what’s outdated
• Build the systems that let the company scale (CRM, ERP, reporting) and partner with the CEO on hiring and org structure

What you bring

• Experience as a #2 (COO, President, GM) at a $20M to $60M product company
• True EOS experience (ideally in a product-related industry)
• Real P&L ownership, not just a cost center or project budget
• A track record of leading director-level leaders and scaling a business through a growth stage
• Background in a business with physical inventory, ideally B2B or B2B2C, with multi-channel sales exposure (direct, wholesale, ecommerce, project-based)
• Strong enough in finance to challenge the numbers, not just read them
• Ties to Columbus, OH. You live here now or have lived here before
