Job summary

Emerald Resource Group is partnering with a Columbus-based manufacturer to hire its first COO/Integrator. You will assume P&L accountability and run day-to-day operations across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, ensuring alignment with a growth plan.

You will translate the CEO's vision into annual plans, quarterly Rocks, and 90-day priorities, sequencing growth initiatives, launching a new channel, and building scalable systems (CRM, ERP) while shaping the organization and hiring

Qualifications

• Experience as #2 (COO/President/GM) at a $20M–$60M company.
• True P&L ownership.
• EOS integrator experience at a product-related company required.
• Experience leading director-level leaders.
• Background in a product-based business with physical inventory; exposure to multi-channel sales (direct, wholesale, ecommerce, project-based).

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly L10 meetings; own scorecard; hold sales, marketing, ops, and finance leaders accountable.
• Own full P&L, forecast, and cost savings.
• Translate CEO vision into annual plans, quarterly Rocks, and 90-day priorities.
• Sequence and resource growth initiatives, including a new channel launch.
• Build scalable systems (CRM, ERP, reporting) and guide hiring and org structure.

Emerald Resource Group is partnering with a premium, niche product manufacturer in Columbus to hire its first COO/Integrator. The CEO has been running both seats and now wants to focus on vision. You’ll run the business.

• $25M+ manufacturer and distributor, about 50 employees
• Products considered the standard in their market
• Runs on EOS
• Deliberate growth plan of 10 to 15% a year, with new channels, product innovation, and direct-to-consumer on the way

What you’ll do

• Run the weekly L10, own the scorecard, and hold the Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance leaders accountable
• Own the full P&L (revenue by channel, margin by product line, cost by department), forecasting, and cost savings
• Turn the CEO’s vision into annual plans, quarterly Rocks, and 90-day priorities
• Sequence and resource growth initiatives, including a new channel launch and an operations buildout
• Understand why current processes work the way they do, then modernize what’s outdated
• Build the systems that let the company scale (CRM, ERP, reporting), and partner with the CEO on hiring and org structure

What you bring

• Experience as a #2 (COO, President, GM) at a $20M to $60M company

• Experience being the EOS integrator at a product-related company is required
