Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling seeks a Manager – End‑of‑Line (EOL) Quality Systems to ensure precise, repeatable EOL testing across the manufacturing network in support of engineering intent, customer requirements, and quality standards.

The role interfaces with engineering, production, supply chain, and quality teams, traveling to plants to review test patterns, instrumentation, and PLC logic while driving continuous improvement of measurement systems and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in controls engineering, automated testing, quality engineering, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of sensors, instrumentation, PLC logic, and automated test systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting cross‑functional teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data management tools.
• Clear, professional communication across engineering, production, supply chain and quality teams.
• Ability to travel 40–60% to Nortek DCC plants.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and improve EOL test patterns and measurement logic across all Nortek DCC facilities.
• Ensure test workflows are consistent, repeatable, and aligned with engineering specs and customer commitments.
• Communicate test findings, risks, and improvements to engineering, production, and quality leadership.
• Follow approved procedures, safety requirements, and quality documentation in all EOL testing.
• Create, revise, and control EOL test SOPs and measurement documentation.
• Maintain logs of test setups, deviations, and results for traceability.
• Evaluate sensor, instrumentation, PLCs, and automated test systems for readiness.
• Troubleshoot test station issues with engineering and maintenance teams.
• Ensure measurement systems are reliable and compliant with Nortek DCC quality expectations.
• Capture test conditions and data accurately for reports and customer documents.
• Support new product builds and engineering pilots with test insights.
• Travel to plants to audit EOL stations and validate test logic and controls.
