• Video Editing and Production: Record video in the EOI Studio and prepare content for distribution using Adobe Premiere Pro.

EOI Student Staff - Video Producer and Editor (Temp/Work Study)

We are seeking undergraduate students who are enrolled during the 2026 Fall semester at UM-Flint and who participate in Educational Opportunity Initiatives (EOI).

Job Summary

We are looking for a student employee who is ready to join an exciting initiative that provides educational opportunities to students at the University of Michigan-Flint. The student hired for this position will play a significant role in the Keys to Success program supporting first-generation and first-year college students at UM-Flint. In this role, the student will edit and produce videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, provide recommendations to improve online video programming, coordinate video shoots to record 1st Gen and FYE students, and support EOI Scholars through a comprehensive video production program.

Responsibilities*

This is a grant-funded position that is term limited and will start as a one-semester term with the option for renewal. Student team members may be asked to perform the following tasks.

Communications/Marketing: Capture programming history (pictures, documents, presentation outlines) to help market key program events online and in print form. Assist with the development of an overarching marketing and communications strategy for event promotion and closeouts.

Desired Qualifications*

• Knowledge of multimedia recording and video editing to support the EOI Stories project
• Experience working with students linked to college motivation, confidence building, and postsecondary success
• Participate in programming offered by the Office of Educational Opportunity Initiatives (EOI)
• Eligible for Work-study
