Job summary

Wabash seeks an EOHS Specialist to drive world-class environmental, health and safety performance at our Lafayette site. This role mentors, trains, and coaches employees, develops compliance requirements, and attends audits to address regulatory needs.

You will collaborate with all levels of the organization to maintain EOHS programs, manage records, support SDS and risk assessments, and help sustain a proactive safety culture across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Environmental or Safety.
• Knowledge of Hazardous Waste Management and environmental legislation.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and risk assessment.
• ISO 14001 Auditor certification preferred.
• First aid training.

Responsibilities

• Maintain EOHS programs ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to all levels.
• Develop knowledge of processes, equipment and materials.
• Prepare regulatory submittals and reports.
• Support SDS program and HAZCOMM training.
• Maintain recordkeeping and contractor management.
• Drive proactive safety culture and behavior.
