Job summary

Wabash is seeking an EH&S Manager to lead risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and culture-driven initiatives across the facility. You will guide environmental and safety programs, mentor staff, and drive world-class EHS performance with strong communication and leadership.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, oversee audits, and integrate EHS into daily operations while fostering an engaging safety culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Safety or EH&S related field.
• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
• Organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains the EHS management system to meet regulations and standards.
• Integrates safety and environmental management into facility operations and goals.
• Ensures training compliance with laws and company rules.
• Oversees safety investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Conducts environmental and compliance audits and reports to regulators.
• Communicates effectively across all levels of the organization.
