Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for a SmartTech - Emergency Operations Center Specialist to support screening operations on over 1300 X-ray machines worldwide. The role includes interpreting challenging images and screening mail, with 24/7 EOC monitoring.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, HazMat and FBI Bomb Technician Certifications, and a minimum of five years in law enforcement or military Bomb Squad/EOD. Strong X-ray interpretation and basic IT skills are needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• HazMat Technician Certification and FBI Bomb Technician Certification are required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of law enforcement or military Bomb Squad/EOD experience.
• X-ray interpretation skills are required.
• IED recognition and EOD familiarity are expected.

Responsibilities

• Screening suspicious X-ray images.
• Screening mail via X-ray images.
• Monitor SmartChem system.
• Ensure security of office during off hours.
• Receive telephone calls.
• 24/7 Emergency Operations Center (EOC) monitoring.
