Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a SmartTech - Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Subject Matter Expert to interpret challenging X-ray images and screen mail for select clients. The role supports screening operations across over 1300 X-ray machines worldwide and ensures 24/7 EOC monitoring.

The position requires HazMat and FBI Bomb Technician certifications and a minimum five years in a bomb squad/EOD setting, with strong MS Word/Excel/Outlook skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• HazMat Technician Certification.
• FBI certified Bomb Technician Certification.
• Minimum of five years of law enforcement or military Bomb Squad/EOD.
• X-ray interpretation.
• IED recognition.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Screening suspicious X-ray images.
• Screening mail via X-ray images.
• Monitor SmartChem system.
• Responsible for security of office during off hours.
• Receive telephone calls.
• 24/7 Emergency Operations Center (EOC) monitoring.
