Job summary

Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services is seeking a SmartTech Subject Matter Expert for the Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The role involves interpreting and evaluating difficult or suspicious X-ray images and screening mail for select clients, while supporting screening operations across 1300+ X-ray machines worldwide.

Requirements include a High School diploma, HazMat and FBI Bomb Technician certifications, and at least five years in law enforcement or military EOD.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• HazMat Technician Certification.
• FBI certified Bomb Technician Certification.
• Minimum of five (5) years of law enforcement or military Bomb Squad/EOD experience.
• X-ray interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Screening suspicious X-ray images
• Screening mail via X-ray images
• Monitor SmartChem system
• Responsible for security of office during off hours
• Receive telephone calls
• 24/7 Emergency Operations Center (EOC) monitoring
