Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an EO Sensor Analyst/Engineer II to develop structured data analysis tools for Tier II Exo-atmospheric Seekers and Sensors, and to help transition designs from engineering to production.

You will write test parameters, analyze performance, fix anomalies, and collaborate with senior engineers and production test teams to improve throughput while maintaining mission assurance.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience analyzing EO seeker or sensor data; Matlab skills.
• Experience with laboratory optics, detectors, EO sensors and seekers.
• Experience writing technical data analysis reports.

Responsibilities

• Assess flight test performance by comparing lab data to flight results.
• Write the EO sensor/seeker portion of flight test reports and flag anomalies.
• Develop algorithm requirements and analyze system performance.
• Coordinate with test equipment development and hardware assembly teams.
• Lead small teams and present failure reports as needed.
