Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX company, is seeking an EO Sensor Analyst/Engineer II to develop data analysis tools supporting Tier II Exo-atmospheric Seekers. Role includes transitioning designs to production, creating robust test parameters, and improving test throughput while safeguarding mission assurance.

We value experience in EO sensors, C++ programming, Matlab, and laboratory measurement techniques. Onsite work in Tucson, AZ with security clearance requirements are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience analyzing EO seeker or sensor data.
• Experience using Matlab for data analysis.
• Experience with lab measurement equipment or techniques for optics, detectors, EO sensors and seekers.
• Experience writing technical data analysis reports.

Responsibilities

• Assess flight test performance with senior engineers and compare lab measurements to flight data.
• Write the EO sensor/seeker portion of the flight test report and document anomalies to leadership.
• Develop algorithm requirements and analyze system performance for large-scale problems.
• Lead small teams and perform independent test problem investigations.
• Analyze results from the EO sensor analysis tool to detect test issues and guide investigations.
