Raytheon Technologies seeks a Senior EO Sensor Analyst/Engineer in the US to develop data analysis tools for Tier II Exo-atmospheric Seekers and Sensors. You will help transition designs from engineering to production, developing test parameters and robust analysis routines.

Responsibilities include documenting algorithms, performing flight-test assessments, and collaborating with senior engineers to optimize test processes for throughput and mission assurance.

Formación

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience performing analysis of EO seeker or sensor data. Experience utilizing Matlab.
• Experience with laboratory measurement equipment or techniques for optics, detectors, and EO sensors and seekers.
• Experience writing technical data analysis reports.

Responsabilidades

• Provide key support in the assessment of flight test performance for Tier II Exo-atmospheric Seekers and Sensors by working with senior engineers to compare lab measurements and predicted environmental performance to that observed during a flight test event.
• Write the EO sensor/seeker portion of the flight test report and provide detailed reports of any potential anomalies to program leadership.
• Develop algorithm requirements, analyze system performance, and develop solutions to technical problems of large scope and complexity; interface with test equipment development and hardware assembly and test methods.
• Conduct a test problem investigation and develop and present failure reports as needed.
• Analyze results generated by the EO sensor analysis tool to identify test issues and guide investigation of test anomalies.
