Job summary

RTX is seeking an entry-level Test & Integration System Engineer in Goleta, CA. The role supports IV&V, DVT, and production testing for EO/IR focal plane array systems, developing test plans, and executing product tests with close collaboration to customers.

The position requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years of lab/test experience; LABVIEW/MATLAB experience is preferred. A DoD Secret clearance is required after day one, with onsite work at the US location.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant internship or academic experience in test/verification or design testing.
• Experience with programming in LABVIEW and/or MATLAB for test automation and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support IV&V, DVT, and production testing for EO/IR Focal Plane Array Sensor Systems.
• Develop test plans and execute product test activities in engineering and production builds.
• Make technical decisions within the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities organization.
• Develop requirements, generate test procedures, integrate new systems, perform system testing, and support lifecycle requirements for assigned program systems.
