Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks an Environments Capability Lead Sr. Principal Systems Engineer (level 4) to join its Sentinel program team.

The role spans ROY UT, Bellevue NE, Huntsville AL, or Manhattan Beach CA, focusing on requirements definition, architecture, verification, and traceability across the Sentinel ground system. The candidate will lead a small team, collaborate with stakeholders, and advance model-based engineering practices using Cameo, Rhapsody, or MagicDraw.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years of related experience (or 6+ years with Masters; 4+ years with PhD).
• U.S. Citizen with active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain SAP approval.
• 2+ years in requirements management/MBSE and model-based engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of systems engineers to develop artifacts for Sentinel ground system in a MBSE environment.
• Develop and mature architecture content with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Create and manage system requirements, traceability, and model-based design artifacts.
• Develop system architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture.
