ALS is seeking a Laboratory Analyst for on-site work in Kelso, Washington. The role focuses on routine to moderately complex wet chemistry analyses in a high-throughput environmental laboratory, following EPA, Standard Methods, and client-specific protocols.

You will operate instruments, prepare reagents, manage sample workloads, ensure QA/QC and data integrity, and contribute to method validation and continuous improvement in a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of wet chemistry principles and laboratory best practices.
• Experience with titrations, colorimetric analyses, gravimetric techniques, and quantitative calculations.
• Familiarity with EPA and Standard Methods commonly used in environmental general chemistry.

Responsabilités

• Perform wet chemistry analyses using EPA, Standard Methods, and client-specific procedures, including but not limited to alkalinity, hardness, nutrients, solids, and other inorganic determinations.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation including UV-Vis spectrophotometers, discrete analyzers, balances, ovens, pH meters, and autotitrators.
• Manage assigned sample workloads to meet strict turnaround times in a deadline-driven production environment.
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC and data integrity requirements; maintain complete, accurate raw data and bench sheets.
