Job summary

VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC is seeking a Field Technician to assist Operators in environmental cleanup tasks across sites. You will follow safety protocols, use PPE, and report to the yard at shift start and end.

Duties include light lockout, operating vactor trucks, and supporting subcontractors on client sites. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift experience, Hazwoper training preferred, and 6 months to 1 year in hazardous waste.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Hazwoper training preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in hazardous waste preferred.
• Effective communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to work overtime with little or no notice.

Responsibilities

• Light Lock out/ Tag out work.
• Work with vactor trucks and operators.
• Supervision of subcontractors to ensure safety and protocols.
• Complete service/work orders, manifests, chain of custody and bills of lading.
• Assist subcontractors in client-site cleanup activities.
• Operate tools such as brooms, shovels, pressure washers as needed.
• Drive a forklift and operate company vehicle as required.
• Adhere to PPE policy at all times.
