Job summary

ES Integrated in Sumter, SC is seeking an Environmental Operations Container Processing Associate to safely handle, inspect, process, and dispose of non-hazardous waste containers in accordance with procedures and regulations. The role supports daily operations by maintaining container management, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards.

The position emphasizes safe handling, labeling accuracy, and routine equipment inspections within an industrial setting, with opportunities for forklift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in waste management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and identify non-hazardous waste containers for proper processing.
• Open, empty, and process containers using approved tools and equipment.
• Sort and segregate materials according to facility procedures.
• Operate handling equipment such as forklifts, container handlers, pallet jacks, etc. (as trained).
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and tracking of received/processed materials.
