Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Material Handler to support inventory control and warehouse operations at environmental services facilities, safely handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials, and operating forklifts.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, verifying documents, maintaining records, and ensuring safety compliance. Candidates should have forklift certification, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and experience with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of warehouse management, forklift operation and/or water treatment experience.
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments using forklifts or other equipment and unload goods.
• Verify items received against documentation and inspect for damage.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and calibration/operation logs.
• Stock, store, and issue materials while keeping records up to date.
• Ensure safety regulations and environmental standards are followed.
• Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking.
• Support cycle counts and general housekeeping of the warehouse.
