Job summary

Allied World is seeking an Environmental Underwriting Professional to support a book of business and drive profitability within an environmental portfolio. This role can be located in any Allied World US office, including New York, Iselin, Boston, and more, with responsibilities spanning submissions evaluation, pricing discipline, broker engagement, and cross-selling Allied World products.

The position requires a 4-year degree and 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong negotiation, and MS

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree required.
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to establish relationships with brokers/markets/companies.
• Develop track record of producing and maintaining reinsurance accounts.

Responsibilities

• Execute the business plan for the development of an Environmental portfolio.
• Prioritize and evaluate submissions to identify the most profitable opportunities.
• Negotiate terms to meet profitability targets.
• Attend client/broker meetings and negotiate with brokers and clients for new and renewal business.
