Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a mid-level Corporate Environmental Associate in Philadelphia to support corporate, finance, and real estate transactions with opportunities for meaningful work and career growth.

You will conduct legal research, draft memos and contracts, manage transactions from start to finish, and collaborate with clients and colleagues while staying current with environmental statutes.

Qualifications

• Strong background in environmental law related to corporate, finance, and real estate transactions.
• Experience advising on environmental matters in mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions.
• Familiarity with federal and state environmental statutes and regulations.
• Experience with environmental disclosure obligations in SEC filings.
• Ability to support brownfield redevelopment and environmental risk management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transaction preparation and strategy.
• Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including memos, contracts, and correspondence.
• Assist in managing complex transactions from inception to resolution.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing professional support and advice.
• Collaborate with lawyers and business professionals to develop innovative transaction strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and stay updated on legal precedents.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Engage in firm programs, civic organizations, and pro bono work.
