Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Mid-Level Environmental Associate in San Francisco, CA. The candidate should have 3–5 years of environmental law or permitting experience, with exposure to M&A or project finance transactions.

You will work with developers, financial institutions, and government entities to support complex matters. Responsibilities include advising on environmental statutes, supporting transactions and permitting, and collaborating with federal and state agencies.

Qualifications

• JD with strong academic credentials.
• Bar admission in a U.S. state and ability to satisfy local jurisdictional requirements.
• 3-5 years of relevant environmental law experience.
• Experience with environmental aspects of M&A or project finance transactions.
• Excellent research, drafting, and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to client service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on environmental statutes such as CERCLA, NEPA, Clean Water Act, and Clean Air Act.
• Support transactions, project development, permitting, and litigation.
• Conduct legal research, draft documents, and manage client interactions.
• Collaborate with federal and state agencies on complex matters.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.
