Job summary

Firefly Aerospace is seeking an engineer to support the Environmental Test Lab in Leander, TX. You will assist with test setup and execution for launch vehicle components, author procedures, and review data for compliance.

BS in Engineering required with LabView experience; familiarity with MIL-STD standards and test rack design is a plus. Strong documentation and communication skills are essential to ensure high-quality test results and process improvements.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required.
• Proficiency with LabView software and programming is expected.
• Ability to interpret hardware schematics and use lab test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with test planning set up and execution of launch vehicle/spacecraft component testing.
• Author and review test procedures.
• Review finalized test data and report packages ensuring compliance with requirements.
• Execute corrective actions and drive test readiness reviews.
• Implement continuous process and facility improvements.
• Collaborate to identify and fix issues found in test results.
