Job summary

Firefly Aerospace, based in Austin, TX, is seeking an Environmental Test Engineer for its Launch, Integration, and Test team in Leander, TX. You will develop test plans, design fixtures, and manage test execution for product development, acceptance, and qualification.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in engineering or physics, 3+ years in aerospace testing, experience with vibration, shock and thermal tests, and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 3+ years of Aerospace testing experience.
• Experience with vibration, shock and thermal testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead test planning, set-up, and execution of launch vehicle/spacecraft component testing.
• Author and review test procedures.
• Review data and report packages for compliance.
• Lead root cause investigations and document findings.
• Execute corrective actions and drive test readiness reviews.
