Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS is seeking an environmental technician to support hazardous waste collection, water and air data sampling, and permit compliance at the site in Maryland. The role requires operating cranes and forklifts, maintaining records, and coordinating with maintenance for lock-out/tag-out procedures.

The ideal candidate holds an HS Diploma or GED, OSHA 30-hour training, HAZWOPER certification, and hazardous materials shipping credentials.

Qualifications

HS Diploma/GED required.
OSHA 30-hour general industry training certification & HAZWOPER spill response certification.
RCRA Hazardous Waste Operator Certification.
DOT Hazardous Materials Shipping Certification.
Full respirator training and PPE compliance.

Responsibilities

Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, mobile carts and related equipment safely.
Rig and move loads with appropriate clamps, straps and slings following safety standards.
Maintain compliance with environmental permits and recordkeeping.
Support waste handling, labeling and spill response as needed.
