Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS is seeking an Environmental Technician to support collection and disposal of hazardous waste, sampling data for air, water, and waste, and to maintain compliance with environmental permits and regulations. The role involves operating cranes and equipment, performing LOTO coordination, and ensuring accurate documentation of permits, inspections, and waste streams.

The candidate should have an HS Diploma or GED, OSHA 30-hour training, HAZWOPER spill response certification, and

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• OSHA 30-hour general industry training certification & HAZWOPER spill response certification.
• Required to have full respirator training and maintain compliance with all PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate Overhead Cranes, Forklifts, Mobile Carts and other equipment as needed, ensuring safe movement of loads.
• Rig and move loads with the crane, verifying weight and balance within capacity and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform Lock-out Tag-out (LOTO) coordination with electricians on site.
• Maintain and document environmental permits, inspections, and waste records.
• Assist in hazardous waste handling, storage, and waste stream management.
