Job summary

Veolia Environmental Technician II role in the United States involves routine heavy labor to properly treat, store, pack and dispose of hazardous waste following Veolia and Clean Earth policies. You will operate forklifts, collect waste samples, complete serialization paperwork and support compliant waste handling processes.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of related experience, can read, write and speak English, and is comfortable wearing PPE including eye protection, steel-toed shoes,

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years related work experience in hazardous waste or industrial setting.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to wear PPE including eye protection, steel toes, hard hat and respirator.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and operate fork trucks and other heavy equipment as trained.
• Collect inbound waste samples for laboratory analysis.
• Complete required paperwork in accordance with practices.
• Pack, move and dispose of hazardous waste per procedures.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
