Job summary

Geo-Logic Associates, Inc. in Concord, NC is seeking an Environmental Technician to support civil/site infrastructure, solid waste, and environmental remediation projects.

This entry-level role involves basic trade activities, field inspections, and reporting to the Area Manager. Travel may be required, with coordination among surveyors, estimators, and project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Experience in environmental sampling.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a driving record acceptable to our insurer.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with area manager, surveyors, estimators, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Understands pump controls and piping configurations.
• Understands landfill drawings and layouts.
• Understands and uses testing, calibration, and monitoring equipment.
• Understands how SCADA systems operate.
• Performs inspections and maintenance tasks.
• Maintains records and logs of work performed and materials used.
