The Environmental Technician role involves field inspections, sampling, and remediation oversight, with travel across North America. A technical degree and OSHA/Hazwoper certifications are preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. degree in a technical field (enviro. science, biology, geology) preferred; substitutions allowed.
• HAZWOPER 40-hour certification and/or annual refresher preferred.
• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour Construction Training.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections and maintenance of landfills for permit compliance.
• Operate, maintain, and monitor pump-and-treat and other remediation systems.
• Mow and maintain landfill cap and drainage areas.
• Multimedia sampling across groundwater, soil, surface water, sediments, and air.
• Remediation construction and drilling oversight on project sites.
• Waste management and tracking.
• Coordinate with data and project management teams to ensure data integrity.
