The Role

We are currently seeking an Environmental Technician based in the US. Preferred location is the St. Louis, MO area, or generally in the Midwest region with easy access to a major airport. Key Responsibilities

The Environmental Technician assists with onsite remediation projects, field operations, equipment maintenance, data entry, data evaluation, and reporting.

  • Help install, test, and run primarily thermal and electrical heating systems that treat impacted soil and groundwater.
  • Maintain and clean field equipment and systems. Check pipes, electrical setups, and monitoring tools to keep cleanup systems working 24/7.
  • Collect soil, vapor, or water samples and record field data. Perform data entry and documentation of daily field activities.
  • Comply with all company, client, and regulatory safety requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with project engineers, sub-contractors, and clients.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, chemistry, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Prior work experience in environmental remediation or other industrial operations is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and perform field work in physically demanding situations.
  • Will need to obtain OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper training.
  • Driver’s license with good driving record.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites (up to 75% of the time), primarily in the US but could potentially be international. Must have (or be able to obtain) passport for work-related travel. Schedule can vary but is generally 3 weeks on/1 week off.
