Jefferson Regional Main Hospital in Pine Bluff, AR seeks an Environmental Technician for 2nd shift to perform basic disinfecting and cleaning of the facility, and to manage routine waste, boxes, and disposal of equipment and furniture.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred; must follow all policies and work both independently and with a team in a safety sensitive environment.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of cleaning experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare facility or commercial cleaning role preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital infection control procedures preferred.
• Must be able to follow all rules and policies within the organization and department.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• This position is a Safety Sensitive Position.

Mansioni

• Disinfecting and cleaning the facility on a routine basis.
• Removing regular waste and medical waste, handling boxes, and disposing of equipment and furniture.
• Work within the Jefferson Regional Environmental Services Department in Pine Bluff.

Job Summary:

Environmental Tech is responsible for the basic disinfecting and cleaning of the facility. This position is also responsible for removal of a regular wasted and medical waste alone with boxes and the disposal of equipment and furniture.

Environmental Technician Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of cleaning experience in a hospital setting preferred
