Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, AR is seeking an Environmental Technician for 2nd shift to support the Environmental Services team. The role focuses on basic disinfecting and cleaning of the facility, and safe waste disposal in a hospital setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 1 year of cleaning experience in a hospital or healthcare environment, with emphasis on infection control and teamwork. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Job Summary:

Environmental Tech is responsible for the basic disinfecting and cleaning of the facility. This position is also responsible for removal of a regular wasted and medical waste alone with boxes and the disposal of equipment and furniture.

Environmental Technician Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of cleaning experience in a hospital setting preferred
