The Jefferson Regional Main Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician I for 2NE Orthopaedics/Uro on nights as-needed. You will deliver direct patient care under RN supervision, help maintain a safe and comfortable environment, and collaborate with the care team to support treatment and recovery.

Strong communication and compassion are essential; the role requires flexibility for variable shifts. High School diploma required; Safety Sensitive position.

• Variable shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on unit need. Refer back to posting on which shift is available. Weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Job Summary:

The Patient Care Technician I plays a critical role in the healthcare team by providing direct patient care to an assigned group of patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse. They will ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, providing compassionate and empathetic care while maintain patient dignity and confidentiality. The PCT will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to support patient treatment and recovery.

Patient Care Technician I Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
