CrossFire Group in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking an Environmental Technician for a 6-month contract with potential to extend or convert to direct hire. Day shift, 8am–5pm, pay $20/hour. Responsibilities include waste management and safety duties.

You will operate a forklift and coordinate with production teams to ensure proper disposal and labeling of waste, chemicals, and recyclables. Hazwoper prerequisites and medical checks are required before starting.

Competenze

• Must have steel-toed boots.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Hazwoper Training (24hr) required before starting.
• Hazwoper Physical required before starting.
• Audio/Hearing Test required before starting.

Mansioni

• Ensure all waste and recycling bins are emptied throughout the day.

• Properly separate, collect, store, and label waste, recycle, and chemicals.

Our client is looking for an Environmental Technician in King Mountain, NC!! This is a 6-month contract opportunity with potential to extend or convert to a direct hire! Schedule: Day Shift, 8am to 5pm, pay rate $20

Responsibilities

• Ensure all waste and recycling bins are emptied throughout the day.
• Operate a forklift.
• Properly separate, collect, store, and label waste, recycle, and chemicals.
• Communicate with other department employees to train on proper recycling and disposal of waste generated during the production process.
• Report any issues or concerns to management.

Requirements

• Must have steel-toed boots (remaining PPE will is right by the site).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Scheduled by the Vendor: Hazwoper Training (24hr) (Prior to Starting).
• Scheduled by the Client: Hazwoper Physical (Prior to Starting), Audio/Hearing Test (Prior to Starting).
