Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking a Technical Specialist to collaborate with the technical team across environmental disciplines. You will ensure technical accuracy, oversee work by others, and assist in developing scope and fee estimates for small to moderate projects within multi-discipline contexts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years' job-related experience.
• Knowledge in Wetlands, Threatened and Endangered Species, Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments, Infiltration Testing, Hazardous Waste Remediation.
• Strong ability to collaborate across disciplines and with clients.

Responsibilities

• Participates in planning, scheduling and execution of tasks; prepares reports and permit packages.
• Provides technical expertise on complex projects and supports all project stages.
• Builds cross-departmental relationships to promote collaboration and success.
• Applies knowledge of environment, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance and high-quality work.
• Helps develop project schedules, technical proposals, and labor hour estimates.
• Collaborates with teams to define scope and ensure delivery.
• Follows QA/QC processes to improve outcomes and reduce errors.
• Provides guidance and training to team members for professional growth.
• Maintains required professional certifications.
• Demonstrates extensive knowledge of permitting and regulatory requirements in OH, PA, NY, or WV.
