Job summary
Stantec is seeking a meticulous Technical Editor to support the Environmental Services Document Support team. You will edit technical reports, proposals, and publications for grammar, style, and clarity, and format deliverables to company and client standards.
You will also remediate PDFs for Section 508 accessibility and support project managers to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in English or a related field and at least 3 years of editorial
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with editorial experience.
- Experience with U.S. accessibility compliance a plus.
Responsibilities
- Edit reports, publications, proposals, and correspondence for clarity, format, and grammar.
- Edit technical documents including NEPA studies, biological reports, cultural resources reports, and permits.
- Assist with proposals and business development deliverables (memos, fact sheets, PowerPoints, emails).
- Remediate public-facing documents for Section 508 accessibility using CommonLook.
- Provide editing support to project managers and ensure consistency across programs.
- Oversee quality control, production, and distribution of documents per schedules.
