Job summary

UPMC Passavant is seeking a Casual Environmental Services Associate at our McCandless location. This weekend-only role covers Saturdays and Sundays from 6:30am to 3:00pm, providing cleaning and maintenance across patient rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, preparing rooms for new patients, inspecting areas for quality, and safely operating cleaning equipment, while following infection control guidelines and performing additional duties as needed.

• Clean and maintain patient rooms, public areas and equipment following established procedures
• Prepare rooms for new patients (including bed-making and discharge cleaning)
• Restock supplies such as paper products and soap to ensure areas fully equipped
• Remove trash and maintain overall cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Inspect assigned areas to ensure quality and report any maintenance or repair needs
• Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment
• Assist with moving furniture/equipment and completing special cleaning tasks as needed
• Follow all safety, infection control and organizational guidelines
• Performs other duties as assigned

This role is a weekend only position. The schedule is Saturdays and Sundays 6:30am - 3pm.

Conveniently located just north of downtown Pittsburgh off McKnight Blvd, our campus is only minutes from Ross Park Mall.
