Job summary

UPMC Williamsport is seeking an Environmental Services Associate for a full-time night shift. Shifts are 10:00pm–6:30am or 10:30pm–7:00am with every other weekend and holiday.

Responsibilities

• Make beds in patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms as assigned.
• Inspect and ensure areas are clean and in good repair; report problems.
• Replenish paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in all locations.
• Clean all assigned areas including patient rooms, public areas, toilets, and equipment.
• Maintain equipment in clean, working condition; report issues to supervisor.
• Remove trash from all assigned areas.
• Follow safety and sanitation regulations.
• Move equipment, furniture, boxes; wash walls and spot carpets as assigned.

UPMC Williamsport is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Associate to join our team. This is a full-time position, 10:00pm - 6:30am or 10:30pm - 7:0am with every other weekend and holiday. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning all aspects of assigned areas, and equipment, to meet hospital and department standards. This role is fast paced and crucial in promoting the quality of care rendered in the environment. Responsibilities may also include moving equipment, furniture, boxes, and handling blinds and curtains.

Responsibilities:

• Make beds, following established cleaning procedures in all patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms as assigned.
• Inspect and ensure that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair, report problems to the supervisor.
• Replenish paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in all locations of assigned areas to ensure an adequate supply.
• Clean all assigned areas, including patient rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, offices, and equipment, following established procedures.
• Maintain assigned equipment in clean, working condition, report problems and suggestions to the supervisor.
• Remove trash from all assigned areas.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Move equipment, furniture, boxes; wash walls, spot carpets, etc., as assigned.
