Job summary

UPMC Williamsport is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Associate for an 8-hour-per-week evening shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm, with weekend and holiday rotation. The successful candidate will clean patient rooms, public areas, offices, and equipment to meet hospital standards and promote quality care.

Responsibilities include moving equipment, furniture, blinds and curtains, restocking supplies, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Cleaning patient rooms, public areas, offices and equipment according to established procedures.
• Move equipment, furniture, boxes, blinds and curtains as assigned.
• Follow all safety and sanitation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Make beds and clean discharge rooms and on-call rooms as assigned.
• Inspect and ensure areas are clean and in good repair; report problems to supervisor.
• Replenish towels, toilet paper, and soap in all locations to ensure supplies.
• Clean all assigned areas including patient rooms, toilets, procedure rooms, offices and equipment.
• Maintain equipment in clean, working condition; report issues to supervisor.
• Remove trash from all assigned areas.
• Move equipment and items as needed; wash walls and spot carpets as assigned.
