Mortenson is seeking an Environmental Specialist to support environmental management across Civil, Solar, Wind and High Voltage Transmission projects in North America. You will review environmental documentation, advise on environmental matters, and coordinate with staff at all levels to uphold company policies.
The role requires a degree in a related field, at least four years of experience, and travel up to 50%.
Mortenson is currently seeking an Environmental Specialist with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Environmental Specialist will support Mortenson's environmental management efforts for Civil, Solar, Wind and High Voltage Transmission Groups’ projects throughout North America, providing review of environmental documentation, and advising on environmental matters in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures.
(for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)
(Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
