M. A. Mortenson Company is seeking an Environmental Specialist to enhance environmental management for projects across North America. This role focuses on developing environmental compliance and training, along with maintaining operational knowledge of environmental regulations.

Mortenson is currently seeking an Environmental Specialist with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Environmental Specialist will support Mortenson's environmental management efforts for Civil, Solar, Wind and High Voltage Transmission Groups’ projects throughout North America, providing review of environmental documentation, and advising on environmental matters in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures.
This individual can be based out of either our Portland, OR or Seattle, WA office.
The base pay range for this role is $89,500 – $120,800. Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA and Portland, OR – 10%. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
