Job summary

Northern Star Resources Limited is seeking an Environmental Specialist at our Delta Junction, AK site. You will support the Environmental Team with sampling, waste management, inspections, and reporting tasks, while coordinating on-site contractors and spill-response activities.

The role requires a BS in Environmental Science or related field, certification readiness (Opacity, HazWoper, EPA methods), a valid driver’s license, and ability to work in demanding conditions on a remote site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science or equivalent training.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and apply environmental laws, permits, and safety data sheets.
• Current Driver's License and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance monitoring and quality control audits.
• Write and maintain environmental plans.
• Investigate permit questions and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct field inspections and prepare reports.
• Manage waste streams and support spill response.
