Job summary

Parsons is seeking Environmental Specialists and Environmental Engineers to support federal civil works and infrastructure projects under the IDIQ contract. These roles will focus on environmental planning, permitting, compliance, site assessments, construction activities, investigation and remediation across the United States.

You will conduct NEPA analyses, prepare documents, coordinate with agencies, and help manage contaminated media and PFAS investigations.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Planning, or related field.
• 5–12 years of related experience; junior staff up to 3 years.
• Experience with NEPA, permitting, compliance, and impact analysis.
• Experience supporting federal facilities, infrastructure, construction, investigation, or remediation.

Responsibilities

• Determine environmental requirements and NEPA review needs.
• Prepare and review NEPA documents, studies, permits, and compliance reports.
• Conduct site assessments and impact analyses for civil projects.
• Track NEPA and permitting lifecycles and coordinate with agencies and stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on environmental regulations and DoD policies.
• Support stormwater, waste management, and construction environmental controls.
• Review Environmental Protection Plans for pre- to post-construction activities.
• Identify and manage contaminated media and PFAS investigations.
• Perform environmental sampling and prepare work plans and reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and travel to dispersed sites.
