Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking an Environmental Specialist to provide technical input on environmental monitoring and construction methods to ensure compliance with environmental specifications and regulatory standards.

You will audit and report on environmental performance, collaborate with design and construction teams to minimize adverse environmental impacts, and conduct risk assessments. You will prepare reports for leadership and train staff on environmental responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field is required.
• Environmental certification is preferred for this role.
• Proven experience in environmental monitoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Audits, analyzes, and reports on environmental performance to clients and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborates with design and construction teams to minimize environmental impacts.
• Conducts impact assessments to identify and mitigate environmental risks and costs.
• Prepares environmental reports for supervisor review and leadership presentations.

• Audits, analyzes, and reports on environmental performance to internal and external clients, as well as regulatory bodies.
• Collaborates with design and construction teams to advise on minimizing adverse environmental impacts.
• Conducts impact assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate environmental risks and financial costs.
• Prepares environmental reports for supervisor review and leadership presentations.
• Raises awareness across the organization about emerging environmental issues and coordinates public hearings and consultations.
• Trains staff at all levels on environmental issues and responsibilities, and engages in environmental education and research to stay ahead of industry trends.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or an environmental related field required.
• Environmental certification preferred.
• Experience in environmental monitoring preferred.
