Job summary

The Waters in Rochester, MN is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to support the Environmental Services Manager in maintaining the community and grounds, similar to a private club or hotel.

You will perform maintenance tasks, assist with housekeeping, grounds and event setups, and ensure clean, safe surroundings with exceptional customer service. Requires high school diploma, 2 years building maintenance experience, and ability to lift 50 pounds; the role offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in building maintenance.
• Experience in carpet cleaning, floor care and painting preferred.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to walk, climb stairs, bend and squat; withstand external weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the housekeeping team.
• Assist with grounds and building maintenance projects.
• Assist with furniture movement for community event set-up and tear-down.
• Assist to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance work orders are completed on time (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, furniture/equipment repairs, trash pickup, upkeep of common areas).
• Perform other related work activities as needed.
