Akron Children's Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Technician I to perform daily cleaning of patient rooms and related areas, stock paper products, and assist with discharge room cleaning. This onsite role supports patient and guest relations by promoting a positive image and adhering to hospital standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• No licensure or certification required.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsabilités

• Daily cleaning of patient rooms, supplying rooms with paper products, and discharge room cleaning using approved practices.
• Daily cleaning of assigned support service areas.
• Use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment, and tools appropriately.
• Provide preventative cleaning for occupied patient areas and perform discharge cleaning per procedures.
• Perform terminal cleaning of walls, lights, ceilings, and use UV light technology.
• Uphold infection control practices and maintain a positive image of Akron Children’s Hospital.
• Maintain high standards, steady pace, and QA scores.
• Fill in to support other areas to ensure efficiency.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and complete other duties as assigned.
