Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital in Buffalo, MO, is hiring an Environmental Services Worker for the evenings shift, 4:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. You will maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff, manage chemical safety, and coordinate with the team on cleaning schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Providing public access to safety with proper control of chemicals, caution signs, housekeeping carts, and restrictions on work sites.
• Working with other team members to set specific cleaning schedules.
• Maintaining knowledge of appropriate department chemicals and correct usage.
• Learning new techniques and demonstrating awareness of safety materials (MSDS, etc.).

Work Shift: Evenings

Hours: 4:30p.m -10:30p.m

As an Environmental Services Worker, you will be:

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
• Providing public access to safety with proper control of chemicals, caution signs, housekeeping carts, and restrictions on work sites.
• Working with other team members to set specific cleaning schedules
• Maintaining knowledge ofappropriate departmentchemicals and correct usage
• Learning new techniques and demonstrating awareness of safety materials (MSDS etc.)

Qualifications:

Education: Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Housekeeping experience preferred

Skills: Service, attention to detail, customer focused

Licensure/Certification: N/A

Physical Requirements: Prolong periods of standing and walking; ability to read and write documentation; Exerting 20 to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or10-25lbs. of force frequently.
