Job summary

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Buffalo, Missouri is seeking an Environmental Services Worker to join the Environmental Services Department. You will lead daily cleaning tasks and help maintain a safe, orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The role requires evenings shift from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with a focus on proper chemical handling, safety practices, and teamwork across departments to meet cleaning schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Skills: Service, attention to detail, customer focused.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Providing public access to safety with proper control of chemicals, caution signs, housekeeping carts, and restrictions on work sites.
• Working with other team members to set specific cleaning schedules.
• Maintaining knowledge of appropriate department chemicals and correct usage.
• Learning new techniques and demonstrating awareness of safety materials (MSDS etc.).

Hours: 4:30p.m -10:30p.m

As an Environmental Services Worker, you will be:

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
• Providing public access to safety with proper control of chemicals, caution signs, housekeeping carts, and restrictions on work sites.

• Maintaining knowledge ofappropriate departmentchemicals and correct usage
• Learning new techniques and demonstrating awareness of safety materials (MSDS etc.)
