Job summary

The Lodge at Sandhills Carolina in Pinehurst, NC is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Director to join our state-of-the-art facility. The role leads floor technicians, housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure a clean, safe environment for residents and team members.

Qualifications

• Experience as Environmental Services Director required.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead floor technicians, housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure cleanliness across the facility.
• Assist the team in routine cleaning of residents' rooms and clinical areas.
• Demonstrate proper use of chemicals and supplies for laundry, housekeeping and floor care.
• Assist with residents' clothing and inventory; move items for discharges or room changes.
• Manage staffing schedules, daily hours and PTO requests.
• Maintain spend down logs according to budget.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead floor technicians, housekeeping and laundry staff to ensure cleanliness of all areas of the facility.
• Assist the team in performing routine cleaning of residents’ rooms, nursing units, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobby, lounge, restrooms, and corridors.
• Demonstrate ability to utilize appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure for laundry, housekeeping, and floor care.
• Assist with residents' clothing and inventory.
• Move residents’ personal items for discharges/room changes.
• Manage staffing schedules, daily hours, and paid time off requests.
• Maintain spend down logs according to budget.
