Position Summary

The Manager-In-Training (MIT) program is a 16-week interactive learning experience covering:

• Operational training in housekeeping, laundry, and equipment use.
• Leadership development, staff training, and quality control.
• Policy adherence, safety, reporting, and communication skills.
• Managerial responsibilities including payroll, staffing, purchasing, and budgeting.
• Focus on customer and resident experience, safety, and punctuality.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude with ability to follow instructions and perform routine tasks.
• Leadership skills post-training to independently manage responsibilities safely.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
• Punctuality and ability to lift or push up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around food and cleaning products, reside within the service area.
